TEACHER’S DAY
Teacher’s Day is an occasion to express gratitude to teachers for their guidance, knowledge, values and lasting contribution to society.
In India, Teacher’s Day is observed on 5 September, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent philosopher, scholar, teacher and former President of India. The day recognises the important role teachers play in education, character building and nation building.
The celebration provides an opportunity for students and institutions to acknowledge the patience, commitment and inspiration of teachers. It reminds us that education extends beyond classrooms by encouraging curiosity, values, confidence and responsible citizenship.
As part of the Teacher’s Day Celebrations’ 2026, Santhiram College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), Nandyal, presents a Continuous Education Program bringing together academic leadership and expert perspectives on emerging developments in pharmaceutical education, artificial intelligence, funding and translational research.
